About CommonBond CWJC
"CommonBond saved my life. Before entering the program my life plan included suicide. When I met Sue Bennett and the others at the Christian Women's Job Corps, I thought This is my last chance. Sixteen weeks later I had a career, self confidence, friends, and a renewed spiritual life as well. It hasn't been easy, but I'm a different person today."
CommonBond Christian Women's Job Corps began 8 years ago in the Cleveland/Bradley County area of Southeast Tennessee. Participants find CommonBond in many ways: word of mouth, church or social service referrals, and sometimes they just happen to cross paths with Sue Bennett, Site Coordinator.
"Sue loved me the minute we met. She's just that way. Somehow I knew life could be better. Then I met the whole CommonBond staff and it just got better and better."
